Global Experiences to Change Lives
Jennings Community School (JCS) is a project-based high school in St. Paul, MN, which serves high-risk, urban students. JCS operates on the community learning center model, which strongly encourages local and global involvement. We believe experience is an integral part of learning. Fund-raising is essential in making these experiences a reality, which our students take primary responsibility for. This website is dedicated to informing our supporters of school trips, upcoming fundraisers, and ways in which you can help us accomplish our travel goals. Refer to the tabs above for more information on how you can help, details and photos of recent trips, and plans for future trips. A group of students will be heading off to Hawaii on September 12, 2017 to study environmental science and climate change! A link above will bring you to a page in which you can follow our trip! We will keep it updated daily. There is also the potential for a Germany trip this year. If you are interested in learning more, making a donation for the trip, or helping out in some way, please contact us through this site. Thank you for your support!
